First sauna. Now I understand why people won’t shut up about them.

This was my first real sauna, so I went in with low expectations and a healthy amount of ignorance. I figured I’d sit, sweat a little, and politely pretend I “got it.”

Instead, the Mini Cube fired up and immediately chose violence (the good kind).

Within minutes I went from “huh, this is nice” to “oh… OH” to “is this what löyly is?” to standing outside in the cold questioning why my thoughts felt clearer than they had all week.

Somehow this small, unassuming cube delivers serious heat, real steam, and a strangely calming sense that everything is exactly as it should be. It heats fast, holds temp, and feels intentionally designed...like someone actually tested it instead of just sketching it on a napkin.

I thought “mini” meant beginner. Turns out it just means efficient. Two people fit comfortably. Solo sessions feel borderline spiritual. I came out relaxed, reset, and already planning the next session like a person who has joined a cult (but a very warm one).

So yes... this was my first sauna.
And now I get it.
Thanks for ruining my ability to enjoy lesser heat. 😆

The mini cube sauna tent is ideal for 1-2 people and where space is limited. We have a city lot, with a smaller backyard. This fits perfectly on our patio and leaves plenty of yard for our dog to run around. The sauna tent heats up quickly. I start with sticks collected from the yard, and add 2 pieces of firewood. That’s all it takes to get the tent to the 175-200 degree zone in about 10 minutes, even in the frigid temps of MN winters. It’s been a nice addition to our weekly mental and physical health routine.

One note is that the door/opening to the mini cube is on the smaller side. It requires some bending/maneuvering to get in and out of for taller/larger folks (like myself). If you have mobility or flexibility concerns, going with the next size up with more of a true walk-in entry is likely worth it.

We ended up buying the bucket/ladle and thermometer separately later, and they are both very nice to have.

Excellent sauna tent. The size make it very efficient regarding log usage and gets up to temperate fast. Well worth the money!

ordered 2 person full kit for early june delivery! it'd likely be 5 stars if I had any idea when the kit might arrive, seeing as we now approach mid june and the order remains unfulfilled. having second thoughts, admittedly!

I’m an investor and one of the greatest investments I’ve made in my whole life if not the best is a Sauna Tent from North Shore Sauna. I have been using saunas for years and would consider myself a pro. I decided a sauna tent would be a good choice for my current situation vs investing in a permanent installation and I began doing research. It was clear pretty quickly there was only one company that I should be considering. Was immediately very impressed with quality of the tent/stove after initial setup. I was missing a few pieces but North Shore took care of me incredibly fast and professionally. After owning the sauna for 6 months I can confidently say it’s some of the best money I’ve spent. If you are hesitant about purchasing a sauna tent. You will NOT be disappointed by the performance I promise. The quality of both the tent and stove are excellent, North Shores customer support is incredible. I live in Maine, this is the coldest winter we’ve had in years, and I have had no problem this winter getting the tent to 200+ degrees. We bought our mini sauna cube and woodstove from North Shore a coupleo of months back and couldnt be more happier with the overall service, how easy is to install - clean overall, to use. We make sure to have sauna 4-5 times a week for all the health benefits and we love it!

I purchase the sauna package as a gift for my husband. I didn’t realize how much I would also be using and enjoying the sauna. It’s a great way to relax alone or spend quality time together.

My husband and I enjoy using the two person tent. Perfect size for a small yard and heats up quickly! Doesn’t use up much wood either.

Been using it almost daily since it was delivered. The stove is easy to get going and is very efficient. This tent can get very hot. I like to get it super hot to heat the rocks and then get in one the temp is lower than 200. Get great steam off of the rocks.

From placing the order to setting up my sauna this experience has been life changing. I ordered my sauna tent during the Black Friday sale and it arrived shortly after that. The process was fast and easy and since it’s been set up I have incorporated this into my regular routine. This company is super easy to contact and responds quickly to email if necessary. I purchased this sauna package a few months ago. My wife and I use it almost nightly. This sauna is the best sauna i have ever used. Beats gym saunas or even built in home saunas I've used. This past weekend it was 5 degrees outside with the wind it stated “feels like” -9. We easily got this sauna up to 185 degrees within 30 minutes still.

Have been looking into saunas for a white now since my wife finished up her cancer treatments. Got one of those cheap Amazon steam tents and enjoyed it in the garage just to get the experience, get wife using it and it lasted until we moved it in the deck. Decided to invest in the next logical step - research and Black Friday sale and pounced on the 2 person sauna. After converting our outdoor shower area to fit the sauna - setup was easy and got stove broke in on first hot burn. 100% loving it. Built a bench to fit 2 people and even added a chair so 3 person if needed. Stove easy to light, 3 small logs and a little time and it’s 150 in the tent. Love the windows to see outside and mounted a clock to keep track of time. This thing holds the heat, is intense and fully loving the experience. If on the fence, get on it! Veteran owned and USA

We gave this sauna as a Christmas gift to a Ukrainian refugee family we are hosting. They were accustomed to a twice weekly sauna, and have not been able to enjoy this small luxury since coming here 3 years ago. The gist was warmly received. The stove was easy to assemble, and the sauna tent was easy to set up. We put it up on a cold patio, outside temp of 31F, and it heated up quickly to 160F. I suspect with some kind of insulated floor mat, we could get it hotter. It held the heat well and stayed very comfortable. We would like to leave it up all winter, but I fear our resident squirrel population might damage it. I need to research that a bit. One other consideration: after we took it down, we opened it back up in a heated garage just to dry it out-- we didn't want to store it with moisture in it-worried about mold or odor. We will experiment with how to use the stove cool down time to dry it thoroughly. Overall, a great experience that we expect will only get better as we get more experience with it.

I took a couple months wondering if I should buy this- I’ve always wanted a wood fired sauna and thought this is a nice way to experience it regularly. I bought it in the DEAD of winter to see if I’d keep using it.

So first off, I’m averaging 4 days a week in it with my wife. Absolutely love it. The heat is uniform and far more enjoyable than IR or electric.

The construction is fantastic. The tent is rugged as h*ll. It’s fantastic. I’m super impressed with the stove. It goes together great and built like a tank. The attention to detail here is key- it’s made with sheet metal that is carefully prepped and sanded so there are no sharp edges. And talk about a furnace - this thing gets HOT. It’s awesome.

My only regret is not buying the carry bag for the stove. It’s a popular item and is sold out but I keep watching for it. I think it would be a nice addition to the pro package even if it bumped the price up.

Lastly - if you have an HSA or FSA, use truemed. That was super simple and got it to me on pretax dollars.
