We bought the nova 6 sauna for our family as a Christmas present and have been using it daily since we got it undamaged and very quickly via UPS. The stove works well and tent is plenty spacious for our family of 5
My only regret ios not buying this sauna the day they went live for sale, i have used everyday since purchase the design is wonderful, the heat is hot and the loyly is pleantiful. After a brief mishap with the sauna cover due to bad luck and poor weather a section of pipe on my chimney was damaged. North shores team quickly rectified the situation. I have been referring people left and right to take charge of their health and start feeling the heat with this sauna. Why spend 4k on barrel which i almost did until i found this company.. Ive tried many saunas near-far (infared) the other guys tents and friends cedar barrels.. THIS TAKES THE WIN for price, portability HEAT and customer service there is no better choice!! If your on the fence buy it you will not regret it!
This gives an authentic sauna experience. The tent and stove are top notch in quality and features. The benches are fantastic and what really sets them apart. Collapsable, packable and customizable (in length) make them really work well. The 6 person is quite roomy and portable. Ask for a bare frame if you want a longer bench. Having grown up with fixed, wood fired saunas, this was a breeze to use and didn't disappoint in performance.
First and foremost this thing gets hot!!! Setup takes a 5-10 minutes by myself. I purchased this sauna from the others for a few reasons in no specific order. 1) this is a local mn company 2) the door shape, it is easy to walk in and out, very handy when bringing in the stove or firewood. 3) the shape and size is what we needed.
I have used this about 10-15 times and without a problem. I had to take it down due to some strong winds and I was worried about it. It has held up to 15-20 mph winds without being steaked down. For a 30 minute session I typically use 4-6 small pieces of wood and it gets hot, easily 150-200° in about 10-20° weather. I’m sure I could get it hotter but not sure if I could handle the heat. A couple minor improvements could be made to it; there’s a trick to putting the chimney cap on by yourself since it doesn’t fit through the hole in the sauna, then if you want to cover the hole with the rain fly or just cover it up you have to take the chimney cap off and bring the stove pipe down. The bench is a little wobbly but nice and light. It is easy to fold up and take down.
We’ve wanted a sauna for so long and this gave us an affordable option until we build a sauna. Thank you!!
